Cloutech Innovations’ team of experts is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Administration Team to support our client business management services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our and our clients’ financial records. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant at Cloutech Innovations. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE and UK business law and accounting standards, and analysing financial data. Daily tasks will include reconciling bank statements, preparing monthly financial statements, and processing accounts payable and receivable. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to support business operations and provide financial analysis as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, reports, and summaries to provide insights into the company’s financial health and performance.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including the timely preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct bank and account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimising financial efficiency.
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable activities, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communication.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and resolution of customer billing inquiries.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company’s financial practices are in compliance.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring that it is sufficient for daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Financial Documentation: Maintain organised financial documentation and ensure records are easily accessible for audits and reporting.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with financial service providers, auditors, and other relevant external parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are a must.
